WWII Army Air Force Flight Nurse Type K-1 Overseas Cap. Lightweight khaki twill body. Has the sewn officers braid. The inside is a satin, khaki liner and a fine twill sweatband. On one side is stamped an AAF winged star, plus an AN proof stamp. Has a woven size 21 1/2 tag. In the center is the KNOX logo. Sewn to the other is a black and silver woven spec. tag with all the spec info. Super hard piece of nurse headgear to find. Looks barely worn.
