Vietnam US Air Force General Alan Lurie POW Grouping. This is a neat group and I hope the photos do it justice. Included is his Generals blue flight suite. This one has no tags but does have Generals stars direct embroidered and his name tag. His heavy green nylon like navigators suitcase with his name and unit wrotten on it. His green nylon helmet bag with an embroidered name tag sewn to it. There are three Philippine made wooden plaque from the 355th TFW Danang Gunfighter, Operation HomeComing and 4th Allied POW Wing. There aretwo coffee cups, one for the 20th TFTS with his name and another for 6550th operations squadron with the name Pierce on it. There is a German made beer stein for the 366th Tactical Fighter Wing and named to him when he was a Captain. A cool framed West German Air Force presentation certificate awarding Lurie a pair of bullion Command Pilot wings, and the wings are in the frame. Plus there is a small assortment of squadron patches that were his.  This group all came out of the Tucson area a few years ago and came through a thrift shop. Luckily a local collector was able to gather up a lot of it before it got scattered into the wind.
