Recon Team Iowa Identified Jungle Shirt

Vietnam Special Forces Recon Team Iowa Identified Jungle Shirt. Standard issue rip-stop third model shirt. Identified to a Jerry G-U-Z-Z-E-T-T-A. On the left sleeve is a standard US made subdued SF SSI and airborne tab. On both sleeves are Vietnamese made, velvet on twill staff sgt chevrons. Above left pocket is a subdued woven type branch strip and US emb. on twill CIB and basic airborne wing. Sewn to the left pocket is a silk woven SCU / Liaison pp. Above the right pocket is a VN machine embroidered name strip and hand embroidered SVN SF pattern basic jump wing. Jungle shirt has been well used and has various repairs in it. Marked a size small-short. He was also on RT Pennsylvania beofre being transferred to Iowa. There are two pages of photos and history on him in Jason Hardy's first book. After VN he became a very well respected LAPD Officer. This piece was found at an antique flea market in the LA area from some vintage clothing dealers ( Wish I would have found it.....).Killer piece.  VPCR
