CBI HUMP JOCKEY Indian Made War Art Pith Helmet

WWII CBI HUMP JOCKEY Indian Made War Art Pith Helmet. Cloth covered cork body. Sewn to the front is a standard pilot wing that has had two small holes drilled into it. In ink around the helmet is written US AIRPLANE COMMANDER  HUMP JOCKEY KARACHI  CHAKULIA  INDIA  C.B.I.  25TH BOMB SQUADRON LALMAINIRHAT  BENGAL and some Chinese characters. Sewn to the top is a very faded bullion CBI patch. Inside is the paper makers label. Looks barely worn but sat on a shelf someplace where light has faded some of the ink. We have had this for a long time and used it for many displays but thought it was time to move it on.
