1950's US Air Force P-4B painted pilots helmet. The sides of the helmet are painted with a Kangaroo and Kiwi indicating the pilot flew the B-57 Canberra Bomber. The helmet shell is in good shape with no cracks or damage with just some marks from usage. The painted insignia are worn, but still clean. The liner is intact but is dry from age. The leather and rubber components are starting to crack from age. Is labelled a size large. Included is a copy of a newspaper article showing the crew standing in front of a B-57 with the same Kangaroo painted on it.
