A rare set that comes with a WWII Marine Corps 2nd pattern canteen cover with an enameled canteen and cup. The cover is in good condition with no holes and rips. The canvas appears to have rust water stains splashed accross the face. The canvas is not faded. Behind the right flap next to the hanger is a Depot mark. The hanger is the high-mounted placement type in very good, solid condition. The lift-the-dots are in great shape. The canteen is an M-1942 enameled type in solid condition with some chips and surface rust. It is stamped US REP 1942. The cup is aluminum and is stamped US FOLEY MFG. 1942. The cup has some surface marks and rust but no holes or large dents.
