WWII - 1950's US Navy Ship Board Painted Helmet. Standard issue helmet. The body has been painted red with a single gold painted stripe going across the top from side to side. On the front in black is 2F. On rear, also in black is, OBA 2. I believe it stands for Oxygen Breathing Appartus section 2. The helmet has a rear seam. On the chinstraps, the end with the hooks is present, but on the other end the hardware is missing. Helmet has been used but still displays nicely. You just need a liner for this.
