Womens Ambulance & Defense Corps Homefront Ike Jacket

WWII Homefront Women's Ambulance & Defense Corps Ike Jacket Uniform. Two pocket khaki twill uniform. Has brown Bakelite type uniform buttons. One of the buttons is missing (see photos). On the left sleeve is a machine embroidered patch. Uniform is named. Was told this outfit was made at Desmond's which was a famous Los Angeles department store that made a lot of WWII officers uniforms. Jacket measures shoulder to shoulder 15 inches, front chest size 17 inches, sleeve length 22 inches and top of the neck to the base of the jacket is 20 inches.
