1st Cavalry Division First Team Academy Vietnamese Made Unit Flag

Vietnam 1st Cavalry Division First Team Academy Vietnamese Made Unit Flag. About forty-three by Forty-six inches. Double sided. Heavy gold colored cotton body. Has a large Vietnamese made velvet cut out 1st Cavalry division patch in the center. In indivually sewn black velvet letters is  1ST TEAM ACADEMY  ALWAYS FIRST, around the patch. This is the flag that flew over the base. Has been well used. Shows fading and a couple of tears where it was yanked off of the flag pole. The person we bought it from said the vet he bought it from was one of the last guys on the base and yanked it down to bring home. Also included are three issues of the 1st Cavalry Division Cavaliers unit newspapers, including the final edition. Talk about a piece of history. VPCR
