1st Force Recon Commanding Officer Retirement Plaque

Vietnam era USMC 1st Force Recon Commanding Officer Retirement Plaque. Part of an UDT type oar screwed into a wooden base. Has a small cast figure of a diver. Diver is in good condition, but is missing the left arm (see photos). On the oar is painted the early unit insignia with the name of the Major whom the plaque is presented too on a brass plate. Measures 27 inches in height. Some minor wear from storage, overall in good condition. To help with shipping, the oar will be unscrewed from the base when packed.
