WWII 831st Bomb Squadron Leather Flight Jacket. The jacket is a 1940's short leather motorcycle type. Very stylized look with a silver Talon zipper. Three pockets on the front and buttoned cuffs. Also has a satin like lining. On the right sleeve is an incised 48 star US flag. On the left is an incised 15th Air Force. On the right chest is a large incised leather 98th bomb group. On the back is a large incised Disney Design 831st Bomb Squadron. This is the one with Timothy the mouse riding a bomber and throwing bombs. The odd things is whomever wore this jacket never had the patches sewn on, they were glued on. You can see the really old glue still around the edges. The chest measures out to about a size 40. Has been worn and has a killer patina to it. The only wear you can really see is on top of the shoulders where it looks like the leather rubbed against something during storage. Hell, this jacket would be a great piece of vintage even if it didn't have these Rockin patches on it.
