Early WWII Japanese Issue Chinese Prisoners Denim Work Set. Lightweight indigo blue cotton material. The top is cut like a Chinese Peasants shirt, with a high collar and closures at the should and waist. The trousers are made out of two different types of the indigo material. The Japanese Army issued these to the Chinese Prisoners as work clothing. Look unworn. This indigo material has many different names in Japan, it is called Noragi, Boro, changchongo, etc. This is a rare and historical set of clothing. In almost twenty years of travelling to Japanese this is only the second set of these we have ever seen.
