WWI era Unit Marked Los Angeles, California National Guard Canteen. The canvas body of the cover is in good shape with no notable damage with some minor staining. The unit marking is faded, but clean and marked to Company A, 160th Infantry Regiment. This unit was known as "Los Angeles Own" and served with distinction in WWI. The makers mark is THE MILLER-HEXTER 11-1917. The metal hardware is a modified feature, with a metal loop replacing the hook. The canteen itself is worn from usage, but still in good shape with no notable damage to the body.
